"All things are connected with one another, and sacred is their connection: none, it may well be said, is foreign to man. For they are all organically coordinated and together form the very order of the universe. For the world is one, made up of the order of all things, and the God who pervades them is one, the substance is one, the law is one, the reason common to all thinking beings is one, and the truth is one" (Marcus Aurelius).

The sophisticated weave that makes up the shapes of this bracelet is a visual expression of the innermost meaning of the philosophy of Emptiness - nothing exists independently of the whole around us. Nothing in the universe is empty, because everything is connected, intertwined, being the result of previous actions.

The fine, elegant links of this bracelet are an allegory of the relationship between all things and the expression of the most intimate laws governing universal relations. Each link, rigorously made and finished by hand, is twisted on itself three times and further intertwined with its neighbouring link. They thus create a small empty space that is, however, not absent - it gives shape, weight and volume to the bracelet itself.

"The entirety of space is within every single blade of grass" (Takuan Soho, Buddhist monk and philosopher).

At the same time, the supple and graceful weaves symbolise the profound awareness of the philosophy of Emptiness: seeing beyond the illusion of independent nature, understanding the very close relationships between all things.

A new vision of the world, the promise of making us whole, fulfilled - this bracelet shows us the deep union that underlies all things, revealing how emptiness is not absence, but wholeness and union. Our lives, intertwined with Nature, with its essence, with the Other.

This creation is a work of great craftsmanship that requires a great deal of time and skill to complete - all the links are created and soldered strictly by hand, one by one, following age-old gestures.

In creating this piece of jewellery, the Fucine Romane Master Goldsmiths rediscover a manual process that has now been abandoned in the world of modern goldsmithing due to the difficulty of finding the necessary skills and the great dedication required.

Handcrafted and brought to perfection in Rome with respect for Nature and Human Dignity. Made exclusively of pure 24 carat Fairmined Eco Gold and pure 999 Fairmined Silver, sustainable and free of toxic chemicals.

Packaging

The fine wood boxes and wool pouches, which we do not consider as mere wrappings, but as silent guardians of small Works of Art, are evidence of the great beauty of the Human Soul and of the craftsmanship that distinguishes Fucine Romane. The wood comes from forests managed in harmony with Nature and the wool is the gift of lovingly reared flocks.
